It is with great sadness that we pass on the news of the death of former Climax Blues Band guitarist Pete Haycock. Pete died on 31 October 2013 and it is believed from a heart attack (although this is not confirmed). Pete was the one of the founder members of the Climax Blues Band along with Colin Cooper, Derek Holt, Richard Jones, George Newsome and Arthur Wood. The band released their debut album in 1969, The Climax Chicago Blues Band and continued with a string of albums throughout the 70s and 80s. Pete left the band in the mid eighties…
