Jethro Tull‘s 1970’s Benefit album undergoes the Steven Wilson treatment and will be released as the ‘Collector’s Edition’ series on 28th October 2013. The album will be available as a 2CD/DVD Collector’s Edition and a Vinyl Edition.

2CD/DVD Collector’s Edition
CD1: Stereo CD of the album plus bonus tracks mixed by Steven Wilson (with Ian Anderson’s approval).
CD2: Mono and stereo CD of rare versions of tracks, plus singles from the era.
DVD: Audio only, including Surround sound mix of Benefit, 96/24 tracks of Stereo in UK and US running orders (which were different), plus rare tracks as 96/24 (tbc)

Vinyl Edition
UK running order version vinyl edition of Jethro Tull’s magnificent Benefit, from 1970, featuring the 2013 Steven Wilson mix.
On 180g heavyweight vinyl, housed in a single sleeve with inner bag.

The package also includes a booklet containing an 8000 word essay written by Martin Webb, interviews with band members, and rare photographs.
